Today I went to my local tackle shop I’m thinking of getting a new Stella though I wanted to check out the sizes. I usually fish with 5000/6000 size reel which is the perfect size. Though I wanted a reel for Kingies so I wanted to check out how big a Stella 8000 or 14000 size would be. They didn’t have any Stella in stock for me to see. So the only reel they had was a Spheros 8000 which looked really huge and too big. I’m not talking bout the spool I am talking about the overall reel dimensions. Is the Stella 8000 the same size to the Spheros 8000 or the Stella is much smaller?
