Hello all,

Northern California spearo here. Just finished up the wine vintage in Blenheim. Got plenty of diving in across the Marlborough Sounds but have since moved down south. I’m looking for any advice or recommendations on sites in Invercargill / Dunedin or getting access to fiordland... anything would help! Also if anyone is keen to let me join them for a sesh I can contribe plenty of beer and bad jokes. Cheers and thank you

Hi Mark. Its very Cold water down there, best thing you can do is find a nice warm imitation seal wetsuit and hang around the edges of the reefs and Kelpbeds keeping splashing to a maximum.
And if you have plenty of burley just swim in the trail you will find the big fish come and find you....hopefully you get my equally bad sense of humour.
 
On second thoughts im not a spearo, can anyone else help Mark out??
 
Why choose either diving or fishing when you can do both. Besides crayfish tail is very good bait!!
