The conditions are shaping up to give us a window between these cyclones, now I know you are really interested. We may need to revert to the harbour if the ocean swell is too unsafe but we will reserve our final decision until the briefing on Friday evening.

 

There may be options of both harbor and open sea with incentives to fish in the harbor. The only thing that I can guarantee is heaps of prizes! the main one being the Viking brand new Profish 400 and the junior kayak from Phoenix. Look there's so many prizes we will be struggling to give it all away just go to the Kayak NZ Competitions Web site and check it out for yourselves.

 

We had to defer the event due to inclement weather and did not want to put any yakker at risk as we are all at different levels of skill and experience. Please ensure your safety gear is up to scratch and you have reliable communication systems on board.

 

If you haven't entered yet don't worry just get to the W Sports Fishing Club at about 1730hrs this Friday night and you can register then, don't forget the Teams event, wow!
