Join Peter De Boer (also from this forum) and myself for a day fishing a stunning wee farm stream located in the Wellington / Wairarapa region.

Back country rivers were still running high despite a period of settled weather, so we were forced to seek greener pastures... literally!

Cheers Nick. That "air" Peter's fish got at 6:50... not sure I've ever seen a trout that far out of the water ever!

When we went first time to that water we caught a nice fat rainbow 15ft from our vehicle. Unbelievable. Used to be 3/4 trout in every pool. Nice vid bro as always.Thumbs Up

It's a wee gem alright mate, it's probably the easiest fishing you can get, in fact it reminds me so much of the Mataura... without the pressure and both species present! I would say 3-4 trout in every pool / run is very accurate still. Andrew
