Hi all, probably find everyone already knows about this but was news to me so will share.
Recently got a second hand rod with SS guide feet that had some discolouring, appeared not as shiny as they should be. So spoke to the only rod guru I know MIB who suggested I use a cream metal polish which took a bit of effort about 2 hours but the result is the guides now look like new.
I always rinse with warm water & wipe down with Inox after every use but will at the end of each season do the polish procedure.
The product I used is CRC metal polish.
