Good job. Oops, I shouldn't say that, should I?
Russell Norman was an out and out communist, member of the communist party in oz before he came here and became "green", yeah, right, a typical example of why that party are called "watermelons"..... Green on the outside but deep red on the inside.
I note he is going to stay on in parliament though....it must be nice to have such a nice big relaxing paycheque to rely on.
Now, if only the rest of them would quit too.......😈

In the 2014 election Labour got 'spanked (worst election result in 95 years!) Did the votes go to Green? No - they got the same number of MP's as last time. Seems the NZ public do not trust the Greens...

Greens should clean up their act,
some great ideas and thoughts come from the party,
BUT they are backed by the Tweet and Twig brigade who over exaggerate/lie/false media information and so on just to get their message across, how they can live with themselves is anyone's guess...

the Greens need a revamp and they will romp into power with the right ideas,
Kiwis are sick to death with the infighting money hungry Governments of today, NZ could be a great nature loving place to live,
dedicated to balancing the power between money and nature with the insight to all Kiwis not just a few that are willing to throw money at those parties which will support them...

as they stand right now i will never vote for them..

Seems the twig and tweeters are going door to door to drum up support, hard case tho that there only doing this in areas of " money" or rich white people.
I had a heated debate with one of there tunnel vision recruits last night while at work in Birkenhead ,asked them wether they were tied up with the destiny church as it seemed there was similarities between the 2 cults.

hahaha yeah its bad news all round for fisho's no one wants to stand up for us,
they make all these promises and never make good on them, mind you going by what some people think about fishing it need not be part of the Kiwi culture anymore,
time to take up arms and force the issue might get them thinking...

NZF & Simunovich fisheries combined with National would be scary for us rec's. A green/green party is needed to give a bit of balance.

I quite like some green policy and despise other green policy.. Russel has gone and likely someone else with the same mindset will replace him as co leader.

Would be great to live in a truely green country. But the unthinking ,unscientific ,fact denying policy  that dominates green thinking is not for me. Global warming, now climate change is still top of the radar, despite warming having paused for 18 years and 3 months. Despite record Southern  sea ice and building of of Arctic ice, severe winters ,record snow falls ,including Saudi Arabia. they wont listen.Green ,sadly has become a fanatical religion and if you dont believe then you are in denial. Sad because other very real environmental issues slip under the radar. And what is their solution. More environmental tax.
The arrogance of saying that mere mortal man can stuff up the entire planets climate, and then the greater arrogance of saying we can fix it again .! The God players.!

Maybe they should all go and start again.Nats ,labour ,N.Z first, etc. The lot

Lets looks at the other solutions. National and their rock star economy . Like most rock stars they are heavily into drugs. In this case the drug is massive borrowing of printed money at low rates.
Take a look at the scary dairy futures, our falling dollar against the U.S and it does not look good.
Economic burn out is looming .

Or what about N.Z first or United future. Secured alot of votes from rec fisherman because of their fishing policies . Votes secured under false pretense ,because we havent heard a whisper about their fishing policy since. So maybe these fraudsters should also go . And labour. Who are they.? Another center party just like National. Desperate voices from the centrist wilderness.

Tend to aggre very much with u Lethal.. RN did move the party more from the Coro greeny tree hugger running around in a old smoky vehicle image to a more middle of the road suit tie professional.
But there is still a lot more movement to go
And considering things like solar roof panels just a few yrs ago where an expensive toy for the very rich, are now becoming an economic factor ......
The Greens still a long way to go, so long as the fringe dont hold back the direction again.

Too true Capt A.
Anyone that supported the most tyrannic regimes of the last century can never be trusted.
Who can forget Keith Locke?
KL wrote an article in the Socialist Action rag in April 1975
That the people of Cambodia had been"Liberated" by the Workers Hero, Pol Pot.
That regime was backed by China.
2 million raped, tortured, staved to death souls later,no retraction from KL for those earlier statements.
Communists are cut from the same cloth as Nazis.
Neither should be allowed to stand for public office.

Peace.Via superior firepower..

Mmmmmmmm. Just how many people killed, starved and driven from their homes/lands do you think the so called wests much vaunted rabid neocon liberal capitalist system has been responsible for? This system is still doing it today as we speak. It may not be as open/direct and operating within the bounds of the law as drawn up by the very same system. However it is killing people and destroying families/lives/cultures in the drive for ever increasing profits. New Zealand is just starting to feel its true icy grip. Many overseas countries have already been stripped/decimated. When the TPPA is signed, that is when the full icy blast will impact Godzone.
No, I am not communist/social/rabid capitalist/fascist.. I just believe in moderation and common sense. The pendulum as swung to far to the right to the detriment of an extremely large percentage of the worlds population.
Unfortunately there will be blood. As history has proven, and mankind has a habit of repeating the mistakes of the past.

well said v8-coupe,
we never learn from lessons we have had in the past,
1929 was the last big bang when the rich thought they could even screw the poor even further, until the poor just up and left the land and everyone then went bust.
people can only be screwed so far before they retaliate....
