Looking for thoughts on using a graphcast 2 to build an overhead setup for throwing soft plastics from the rocks?

I know they have a good reputation for throwing bigger lures but not sure whether they are too much rod for a couple of hours of constant casting. Only really targeting snapper and using 200 - 250 size round and low pro reels.

If not, open to suggestions in the 8.5 - 10 foot range? Would be good not to have to pay to ship a single blank from the states.
