It was 19.6 at 60m & 19.8 at 65m. soon as we found a current line, 2 albies on. I know that's not a game fish report but we're seeing almost a degree warmer than last week.I know Mangre2 has the real oil on SST's but we aren't that flash and mostly snapper fishers. Only a matter of days before a 60m marlin is weighed.Wink  I have been weighing marlin for others for years and it's starting to look good. really good

this was captured solo, in a 3.9m RHIB, Talica 25, took just over 2.5 hrs

Well the manukau is beginning to fire.

Although catch reports are light, this may reduce the Queen st effect and the crazy launching at huia at least.

The fish are here.

Don't discount the shallows, you may get more than you bargained for.

I suggest you monitor the air ways for real time action it can be informative, exciting or with the westie drunk muppets quite fowl.
But good info in real time.

This one was caught today in 125m off Port Waikato on a Bonze kahawai. They dropped one at the boat a few hours earlier in the same spot. There were two others weighed earlier in the week also.

A nice fish weighed today at Te Toro. A big stripey weighing 156.8kg, caught in 35m. That's kinda close!
