More details to follow, word is that Lou and Cam Rathe (dad & son) are anchored in Fitzroy tonight with a 150kg Broadie in the boot. They got it today up around the Hauraki Canyon 20 miles north of Barrier. Short fight of a bit over half hour for such a good conditioned fish. Hopefully Cam will post some pics and first hand account after the rumbos have left him alone.
