i would imagine waihau is pretty dead mate. stuff all fish been caught there since nationals. typical year for waihau. 3-4weeks of red hot fishing

We were down there for the TGA 1 base and fished 3 days - end of march. had two shots at stick faces and a short bill spare-we didn't land any bugger it but they were there. We also caught heaps of king fish at the cape, there were no cudas which was awesome but there were a few bronzies though. Wouldn't surprise me if there were still fish around
