Blake tagged a 80kg fish, his second this season. 11 years old and thinks he's a marlin magnet now.

sounds like drew edwards on 'sea r lis' has landed a nice stripey on a live skippy in the whiti trailer boat comp, caught at the aldies.  he's having a great season on his new senator. with f all else landed in the comp i would hazard a guess he will clean up  and will be having a few tonight......

Weather was the winner on the fishing front ,most boats couldnt get out past Centre for the first two days .Sea-r-lis caught the only stripey on the last day 127 kg ,wahoo woman caught the heaviest Kingi with Tobez on sanity 14 kg ,heaviest snapper 10 .something .Warren harris was the last man standing and won the trip for two to Samoa and accomadation and fishing charters

We had a double on yesterday. One pulled 100m and fell off. The other pulled 500m, jumped all over the ocean before landing on the leader and busting itself off. It was the only action we saw. We were fishing the middle ground in 130m. Water temp 19.9oC

Hard luck mate.  Sounds like it had been fairly quiet that way for a while so at least you got some action.
