That water looks disgusting - I wouldn't even let Boulder tow lures in that muck

Went out through the Kaituna this morning and motored out to 150m between Schooner and Plate and put the gear in. Aim was to troll down towards white and then work our way back, but water was dirty green. So trolled out to the Temokemoke Knoll and then back into the trench off Matata and back to Plate for 3 skippies, no albies and no sign of marlin, saw at least 20 sunfish and theb at was it.

Heard that we went in the wrong direction, as Intruder got one out of four marlin shots on live baits behind Mayor Island - Kane spill the beans.

Striped Marlin weighed this evening at the Tauranga Game Fishing Club 114.9kg, angler Alan Spiers, off Intruder. That's off the board in the doorway of the club tonight.  Congrats to all involved. Well done.

Good on you Kane, great day alright, wish I could have said we had action like that, instead 12 hours on the water for didly squat, water was green all he way out to the Temokemoke Knoll. What were you using for live bait Kane?

Better to be out there trying than out side or inside doing nothing... Nothing ventured nothing gained.

95kg Northen Bluefin just weighed in at Whakatane of the boat Chaos, well done! Things are looking up. But whats going on hear, masive blacks and northen blue fin so early in the season. More than likely to be the first northen ever weighed at Whakatane.
I own 501 lures, but i can only run 5 at a time. What to do??? Man I have some sleepless nights!!!!
