I'll be going up this weekend, for a fish on Sat and Sun, can't wait, hope the SW settles by Sat morning and doesn't put them off the bite. Will have to get out there and see. Who else is going?
My wife says she'll leave me if I go fishing again - HELL, I"LL MISS HER!

we will be fizzing around also sat and sun.  Boat name "Hooked On protein".What areas of water are  you guys all gonna work?? we are thinkn of not heading too, maybe 150 - 200m deep but rather north. But would love some updates from anyone who may of where the good water may be?

Also if this weekend is when they are having the anniversary tourney redone, does that mean others can join the comp if they didnt sign up initially?
cheers

silva fox weighed a 226kg blue yesterday. they got it in 180 off the north end. tuturangi weighed one and tagged one today not sure on sizes but apparently mostly smallish stripies. A guy on a trailer boat also weighed one only 4th time out and managed to run over the line and all. went 71kg

Well after finding the best water, temp and colour, South of the Knights Saturday with the Turtle and the shirt. I decided after much dis*****sion with my only mates (myself and me) that was the place to be. So the three of us set out on our own.
As usual we got it wrong again almost all the action within reasonable distance from Tuts was off the North end.
Maybe this was because thats the only place anybody was fishing because the only other boats we saw all day was 2 launches travelling though. Sighted Nadda. Weather was still fairly average and no better than Saturday maybe swells were smaller but that chop was nasty at times. Caught 13 Albacore then had to pull the bungee in as the bin was full. Our boat might not be able to attract the Marlin like the Turtles but it sure is better at catching the little fishees even managed 2 on the Pakula lumo and we all got excited when the big reel ticks over. The language from some poeple is shocking.Shocked. Can't get out again till the 6th so thats the day. Next time I'm going with a better crew Noone and Nobody the other 2 can stay home as they're Lemons.
