i dear say that as soon as the navy ship turned up they bailed - just speculation tho as they were off castle the other day and the navy ship is surveying there.

Just back from a day on the briny ,saw three none in the lures ,something grabbed the bungy and literally ripped it off the back of the boat ,heard it go didn't see a thing Tone E would'nt venture too far from the Hook myself ,unless it gets really dead ,we started at the hook this morning didn't look that promising so decided to try wider zigzagged out to the 500m line ,the water got better but the temp didn't rise significantly ,didn't get above 21 anywhere we were today.Fish started getting hooked up at the Hook so about face and back in ,where we ran over the top of one it was about 5-10m down and I didn't see it til the last minute, thought it might turn and strike but it didn,t.All in all not much bait around today bugga all birds and the dolphin appeared to be a group of mums and younguns fooling around ,hot as in the sun and mirror like calm ,no skippies either
