STU, where were you fishing mate? just fished two days out of waihau. only saw one stripy but he spat the hook. don't think any fish were landed in the last couple of days!!!
Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach him how to fish and he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

oh ok mate. we must of got there just a bit late. this SE won't be helping at all either. we had a livie eaten by a stripie in 140m between oreti and waikawa but he came to the surface and threw the bait. as far as i know we were the only ones to see a marlin that day.

On one of your lures I imagine? Nicely done, one must have sliped past the wall of death up in the tropics!
