Heard of a stripey caught on the boat Hornies today also a Y/fin and a shortbilled spearfish ,not sure of any weights yet .The spearfish is being divied up between the boats in the Cove tonight and eaten so will not be weighed .May have been others but have been a bit busy with work lately 
 doesn't look good on the weather front for the ladies this weekend ,the wife is gutted

7 or 8 marlin caught today at least there was another being played as we came in .Epic ,Outsider ,2 for Finally not sure who got the others .We binned up on skippies and Alberts in close between Castle and Ohineau ,nice colour water and 21 degs even in there .Thought we may have seen a couple of free jumpers but may have been makos ,plenty of action Tobez dropped what he said was a big one early on .Nearly all the action at or round the Hook

Went out today put the lures in couple of kms past Richards rock lots of skippies and albies around trolled out towards the hook. Saw free jumping mako and a rather large whale breach well out of the water amazing sight. Lots of activity in the morning birds etc but no stick beaks, headed out to the 300 metre mark and watched the boat next to us hook into a rather large blue jumped right by the boat. Things went quiet in the avo trolled back past the hook and saw a free jumper at the 140m mark so they are certainly around. Dad got the yellow fin yesterday was around 20kg can assure you it was very tasty...
