I started a thread for the Crusaders.
Need one for the Chiefs too(I`m inside the Chiefs Union catchment)
No Sky Rugby for me,listen to Radio Sport.
I do not know what has happened to those Chiefs radio commentators?
It`s like,they are almost unbiased/balanced!!!
Sounds like the Ref(s) made mostly correct calls throughout the game.
Also,no replays  on Prime TV for Friday night games.Bumma.
Any decent web sites out there to give extended highlight replays?
Maybe others can head up a thread for the other Super teams?
I do enjoy good live radio match coverage.
I got a bit nervous there when the Stormers got to 18-24 in that last quarter.
Time to hit the road for the Chiefs now.
Lets see how they do off-shore.
Good luck Chiefs.
You are doing your fans proud.

Yep, I have been a Chiefs fan since day one. Admittedly it was hard work those first few years...
Good to see Mr T score in his 100th game - I'm not too sure about the conversion attempt tho'
I have sent PM with a link for live streaming of all S-15 games (will not post link on here)

Go the Chiefs!

Cheerz for the link cobber.
True dat re being a Chiefs supporter from day one.
Used to get a fair ribbing from M8s who backed other NZ based teams back in the day.
Still,I guess that is what makes the last two Chiefs seasons that much more satisfying(relief).
Long may it continue.
Now,if the Chiefs do not make the semis, this season will be regarded as a failure.
Such are the expectations from the fan base.

Victory of sorts to take the 2 points for the draw (plus the 4 try bonus) at Loftus. And to outscore the Bulls 5 tries to 2 (plus a penalty try) with a guy in the bin. Anscombe was the difference when he came on. Still some work to do on set piece.

Just caught the highlights.
Seemed like a lot of short inside passing tactics employed by the Chiefs.
Worked for them OK.
Hi tempo game too.
Great pressure side line kick by Anscombe.
He seems to have done well with his transfer from the Blues.
Is Baden Kerr in the Blues squad?
He was a top player for Counties(Shield holders) last season.
Nice bloke too.Meet him at the airport when Counties brought the Shield to the Union.
Hope he does not head to Japan or France if no regular Super games for him this year.
Happens though, for fringe players.
Peace.Via superior firepower..

Against a weak team? Rather look at the BluesBig smile
Chiefs was a bit flattered by that scoreline mind you. A better team with all the possession the Lions had and the Chiefs would have been in trouble. Can't see them making the semis this year. Never mind the playoffs. Crusaders to win the conference and Blues sneaking into the playoffs. That sounds betterClap

I agree with you Stevie. The Crusaders putting away the Brumbies who had previous annihilated the Chiefs puts things into perspective. Regardless the NZ conference looks tight which is good for the game here.

Sitting not only on top of the NZ Conference but currently 1st equal in overall S-15 standings. Big Benny Tamifuna (2 tries) was the difference - go the Chiefs!!!

Onya Chiefs.
Would be higher up the points ladder if the Chiefs had more games at the Counties StadiumWink
2 x games at Yarrow Stadium.Whats that all about?
Still,if the boys keep winning their, all is good.

Solid performance but not spectacular tonight. Decent enough win though and a pretty good one to watch. Happy with the 12 point win too Wink

Yep, a vital win. I suppose playing two games in New Plymouth is part of the contractual obligations, but no doubt they'd fill the stadium at Puke. Hopefully the red and black machine comes to the party on Sunday.

You are correct salty.
The Puke stadium has been chockka with that Shield of late.
Don`t think there are any Chiefs games in the BoP this season either.
NZRFU better spread the love around next season.
If the Chiefs had not won the last 2 titles, would the Naki have been in our franchise this season?
Fair weather union the Naki, the Hurricanes have its 1st poor season, ever, and they pull the pinStern Smile

Yep, the dynamics are interesting and the politics tend take centre stage on the odd occasion. Hopefully tonight's win will go some way to ensure they draw a decent crowd at the next game down there.

yeh right about the canes. Bout time they were better than vrap! Tonights win puts the reds into context. Nothing like putting the boys from the "queen" city in their place.

Mash, have a lot of newbies in the Blues atm.
Great front row.
If Sir JK can keep them together for a few seasons, should be a handy side.
Those away stats for the Blues must be costing the TAB a few bob by now.
Distressful.
Hope the Chiefs finish strongly.
Anything less than a play off would be considered a poor result after the last 2 seasons.
That Messam must be an All Black captain should Reid or McCaw tip over.
Don`t those Counties players make Rennie and co look good eh!
