Yeah, they're just like ours only smaller.

Don't remember if I posted these before.  Not saltfly but some interesting fishing for Predatory Carp (Chanodichthys erythropterus) while I was living in South Korea.

They hunt the shallows in packs and love poppers.  You have about an hour of craziness at daybreak.  Never caught a real big one but they do grow to 8kg, apparently.  Great fun on fly and look like miniature tarpon.  The fight is a bit of a one run wonder though.  The surface strikes are the fun part.

Thanks Johan. An interesting fish. There are some crazy freshwater sportfish in Asia. When you get a chance try googling yellowcheek carp Shocked A fish quite capable of living in the Waikato River Confused
