Hi Guys,
 
Ive just arrived home for the holidays and I'm a keen fisherman, I own a spinning rod and lures. Do you know of any good spots close to Blenheim where I can catch good fish? Cheers Smile

Not sure about fishing the local small streams with a spinner, just check the regulation book that comes with your license before you fish.
The wairau river is a very good spot, the diversion will give you a chance to catch good size kahawai as well as sea run browns and upstream there are miles and miles of good water.
Have a look at google maps and you will see lots of streams and rivers in your area, there is even spring creek that runs through the middle of town and holds some good fish.
