I'm a Shimano bait runner addict so if you want me to convert and give a good testimonial over this summer then I suppose I will do that under duress.

Ive had an SX Avet now for over a year, bought it while the exchange rate was good. I'm very impressed, mines spooled with 10kg spiderwire fusion and I use it for straylining. Billy, good advice is to put some loctite on the screws that hold it all together. I lost two of the three one day out on the furuno last year. Parts were easy enough to get from overseas and they didnt even charge me for them. That minor problem sorted its a fantastic reel for the price. I think I had mine landed in the country for about NZ$250.
