Thought this fish here is worthy of the thread... Definitely a fish of a lifetime on top water. We were testing new Lures and New Synit Top Water Rods fro Graeme.

& Released

Angler: James Hendersen (a SMASHED PB previously of 18 kilo)
Boat: Legal Action
Rod: Synit Van Demon X36
Lure: Hitter Aurora Star 120 gram
Weight: Sling Weighed 34 kilo
Length 139cm

Here is a shot of X36 (don't know why photo is not sitting correct)

Hopefully this fish and the others nabbed are a great sign of things to come this season!!!

Not quite the scale of the two fish above but definitely a highlight for me. New Kingfish PB and on a stickbait to boot. Landed this the fish before James in the post above:

Angler: Sam Chitty (Previous PB of 22kgs)
Boat: Legal Action
Reel: Saltiga 6500
Rod: Synit Van Diemen X46
Lure: Hitter Aurora LHavy 120 gram
Weight: Est.26kgs

Thanks Mr. Synit for the use of the testing rods. We knew he would want some bent rod shots so we gave him what he asked for! I read the drag rating after dialling up the Saltiga a wee bit much. No tears though. These rods are seriously nice weapons. The X46 loves the 120g Hitter Lures.

"owner st66 treble hook took a bit of a beating"

Time to replace or your popper and stickbait hooks with 76ers?

I have on all but one lure which happened to be the lure I was using a week ago when I hooked a 50-70lb beast. Needless to say I'll be blaming the hook rather than my technique - now replaced with a 76er
