Three-fourths of the Earth's surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn.

Benny Bennuch, they were say 15/19knots for this afternoon back of Waiheke.....
the wind what there was of it wouldnt have reached 5knots and was from the North...
they were all miles out for Friday 28th....

except this one that someone put up a couple of months ago which you have to download onto your computer and work out how to use the dam thing....
Ugrib is part of the GRIB.US range of weather data services.

go here if you want to try it, http://www.grib.us/Downloads.aspx you will need to play with it to work it out, but once you do its quite good even shows showers (rain)coming in and going... do's animations of a whole week in 3hr segments... not that easy to work with though, will try and put up some screen shots for the next 3 days if you like....

here you go for tomorrow..
Sat 29th May 9am
16knot 254 true inside Waiheke.
18.7k 259 outside Waiheke.
20.4k 259 outside Tiri.
Midday
12.7k 239 inside Waiheke.
15.6k 244 outside
18.6 243 outside Tiri.
3pm
11k 213 inside Waiheke.
13.5k 220 outside Waiheke.
15.3k 226 outside Tiri.

ok here are some quick pointers on the above program if your willing to D/L and install it on your computer...

1 click on the select area...

2 drag your curser across the area you wish it to display the weather.

3 it loads the concordance into here for you you just click down/load latest info for that area.

after you have D/L the info which only takes sec's you will see something like this below.

you can zoom in or out with the above bar of buttons.

1 were ever you put your curser it will display on the left in the number 2 box

2 here is were you get the info for that area on that particular day an hour. move your curser and it will change, so any area can be found.

3 is a possible show of rain coming over.

just above this is a row of different gadgets which let you go forward or back per 3hrs...

anyway you get the drift it certainly seams to work....

Looks like about 5 to 10 knots out there now.  Going out to sample some shallow water straylining, nestled out of the breeze.
