What to buy? Budget around $500 to $600 for a fish finder, any ideas?

Have a look and the colour garmin's  they are good value at around your budget

Not much for that price as  a reasonable fishfinder I would recommend is 500 watts min.
I STARTED THE DAY WITH NO FISH AND I STILL HAVE PLENTY LEFT
