I think I have managed to get it sorted. As stated before, I was actually jigging for puka or bass. Heres a pic of the strike.
 
 
It was a good fight out of 180 odd metres. To say i was buggered is an understatement. My wife did get some nice shots though, and the conditions were magnificent.
 
 
And finally the fish we were after to give us a shot in the competition.
 
 
So there we have it. One fish for the crew but a great day out. Also got a mountain of fresh kingi steaks for the smoker. Choice.

I will not going to post my fish as it's only good for sashimi. LOL Still editing videos. File is too big cant post it here and even in youtube. We have a good week in tga even all the dramas happened.

good choice mate....now go invest in some CRC Contact spray from Dick Smiths, some AZZO wipes (alcohol based) and a decent lint free lens cleaning cloth.....Wink...and use them all regular like!!

What do you use the CRC for Kezza?  AZZO for cleaning the lens?
