Lake Rotorua's surface water temperature is sitting around 15.4 degrees C. Algae readings are still high on Lske Rotorua.  Curently it is 12 degrees C with a cold south-easterly at around 10kph.  There have been spits of rain and showers are forecast.  Tomorrows outlook is for 14 degrees C and 22kph south-easterly winds.  The UV Index is moderate at 4.  Sunset this evening is at 5.25pm and surise tomorrow will be around 7am.

Lake Rotoiti's surface water temperature is sitting around 16 degrees C.

The Ngongotaha Stream is still fishing well as fresh run rainbows and browns run the stream every night.  The nymph and wet fly combo is working well when a green doll fly is used as the wet fly.

Ruato Bay is holding  some fish though they are not necessarily in the normal places.  Blue doll  flies are working well.

Rangiuru Bay and Stony Point are producing good fish both during the day and after dark.  Small lumos and craigs night times are taking fish.

Lake Okataina is fishing best from the shore before dark.  Access is available to Rocky Point via the shoreline (for the more adventurous after dark)
