Rotorua's surface water temperature rose 0.14 of a degree between 6am and 11pm this morning.  Algae levels  have dropped to 2.1 during that time aslo.  The wind is from the South at 23.04 kph.  Barometric pressure  has risen 0.04 of a point to 1017.8 hPa and humidity has dropped  from 83% to 61%.  There was 1.13mm of rain early this morning but this has since cleared with a cold southerly.  We are expecting 17 degrees C by 3pm this afternoon and cloudy.  The UV Index is high at 7.  Sunrise tomorrow will be around 7.23am and sunset this evening will be at 7.22.

Lake Rotoiti's surface water temperature is stable at around 18.3 degrees C and the thermocline is below 14 metres.

The Tarawera Trap is due to go in on April 1 and I hope to have updates on what has been moving through.
