Nice fish guys
Whats your general location where you fish

Still learning my home patch...Cornwallis on the Manukau to Narrowneck east side

Was out yesterday off NN, all small snaps off Taka cliffs, anchored up with baits, best was 36 size on the outgoing, mullet did it for me... nice getting the yak out again

Hi BananaBoat.  Castor, campbells, mairangi, and murrays bays for me is my local.  If I’m feeling very energetic l paddle as far as up to browns bay by reef there to get among the massive schools of gurnard. You can launch there as well, and can it can be excellent fishing, also if you are thirsty afterwards has excellent pubs ... my favourite is the deep creek.
To get fish like Dan did today you need to go a tad further north.. like an hours drive, at a guess, might be bit less depending on traffic, although probably not a lot of traffic 6am in morning. Either way too early.Wink

One King and one snapper kept for the score board this morning.

Under the stars on my third cast had an epic three minute fight with a horse of a snapper that he won busting me eventually on a bommie. Dunno how I lasted so long!

Great morning on flat seas.

I thought from the way you're standing in the photo that for a moment we finally had proof that Muppet does indeed walk on water! LOL

Great day, mate. You'll be reliving that tussle and the lost snapper for through the working week.

Good luck for your Villa boys tomorrow morning in their mission to stay up.
