I’m with Dan, stay at home,  unless your starving. I have to go  to work.   So rest of you people ( unless essentially engaged) should stay at home and do your duty.

Anytime Dan, here to help but lot of help going is to be needed. Fully get where you are coming from.. getting my own family questioning sense of my loyalty choosing to work this with people they don’t know (my customers),  probably like your wife but no where near as intense as for health workers, some people have no choice but to step up. It’s what some have to do.

It’s ok to walk on the beach, so I see going out locally on the yak will be ok. Just don’t go deep, do it safely as maybe there is no coast guard to save u. Take extra paddle and a mate, but keep the 2m rule when launching and chatting. What do u guys think?

Rethought my original post......will be doing everything I can to stay safe and keep others safe - no yak fishing.
Also try and slow the kids down. Don’t want broken arms or sprains from them as want to avoid hospitals (and overload them further).
Good luck for your families who are in the health sector.

I’ll be working thru, a week from home then a week in the office (likely to be the only person in the office) as our factory is considered essential to beef and dairy production. Hoping I don’t have to head into the production area but will be masked and gloved if I do. It’s going to be a weird time, to be honest I am happy I get to work as I don’t think I can handle a whole month indoors.

That's a good modest take home catch mate. You definitely play your part with releasing, I keep alot more these days as my family and girlfriends friends can't get enough!

I gave the Gurnard a break last year too, but as you say, let's hope we can get out to target them again! Have always been tempted to try the Kaipara for the big suckers but will see what happens
