Yeah, I hear there are a lot of sharks around at the mo.
Always like a challenge though.....sleigh ride with a chute out 🤔

Might try local this weekend, have caught jds on sb before around the reefs. Plus been a while since fished here. Sat am looks ok.

I tried same spot as last weekend on Saturday am, but tides wrong way round I think, picked up a couple of small keepers and threw quite a few back. More KY boilups everywhere, spent a bit of time chasing them around, but no snaps underneath.
Got livies easier than last weekend, caught half a dozen early on but only used two. One got scoffed but a KY and the other one swam round rest of the day without getting bothered. Didn't see any kings, big or small.

Yeah got out briefly, lots of KY around, hooked quite a few small ones on little clear sparkly Z-man shad (can't remember the name) and got one fat bugger who took my livie. Saw a few rats chasing the big KY as I pulled it in but they were not much bigger than he was. No keeper snaps, but seemed to be a lot of sign around. Heeeeaps of boats. Had that feeling it would kick off at some point but I had to head in.

I went looking for workups of the Peninsula and after 4o minutes of driving spotted some birds at rest off tindalls. Unfortunately nothing underneath and I packed it in to go surfing instead!

Fished out from Tindalls yesterday after work. Pretty slow but managed dinner. Found some good sign stacking up upcurrent of a reef but they weren’t that hungry. In 8m on dusk.

Just welded up another leak in the prowler - same spot as the last one, edge of the scupper under the seat.

Thought it was a bit heavier than usual after my session on Wednesday - then about 5L of water came out of the hatch onto the windscreen on the way home Angry

Problem is, I can't get to the inside of the scupper area to brace the hull so  the heat has deformed the area around the scupper a bit - looks ugly but no longer leaks.

Saving for either a stealth or a bixby equipped viking.
