Yeah tough morning out, was expecting 10-15knts but would've been 20plus at times was fishable though but pretty sloppy a couple of kms out. Only managed a couple best went 68.5cm at 12.5lb.

No excuse for not finding fish if you have a fish finder. Just have to catch them then. Us basics have to find then catch! Yep, 6-ish tomorrow...

14ft I use swellmap. Was showing about 10 knots southwest today but it was 20 knots.

Downtown that's a beauty especially on a windy day.

Ray fishfinder certainly helps but isn't a guarantee of a catch. You should get one they are cool 😎

I'm going with Allpom now

Nice Ray no need for a fish finder for you!

I went with Allpom and Daz further east but I only managed 2 a 35cm and a 50cm. Easy filleting 😁

Bugger all drift Rockman.

Oh and I may have fully turtled in the tiny surf on the way in 😎

Whoopa that sucks. Strength work and stretching to keep your back in check.

14ft looks like Papamoa is firing after Ray's haul and my mate did well on his jetski after coming back in from zilching at Motiti.

Tomorrow looks perfect! Bite was definitely more vigorous before sunrise today, so I reckon early is good. Plus it’s nothing short of spectacular watching sunrise on the water! Good luck to those going tomorrow!
