Hmmm, might have to do Thursday by the looks of it. I think work has done pretty well out of me lately.

Thursday, Friday and Saturday all look pretty good. I'm probably going to revisit the scene of my skunking on thursday and try again.

Beaut morning out with Noponies, DT, and Ruff. Was already getting light when I arrived at 6.20am.
Fishing started slow for me and I thought I might be in for back to back skunks but I started to get some bits and pieces couple cod then 4 snapper. Also got a shark. And I finally caught my first legal Kingi after 15 years...
80cm nice little eater. Got it on Downtowns old Stradic....

Nice one Andy!

Like Andy I found it fairly slow, few little throwbacks, lots of half eaten gulps. Ran out of those in new penny and only had trigger X in that colour left. Tried them out and they got hammered.

Nice conditions, great to get in the saddle again.

Ended up with 5 nice eaters.

Porae is cool. Another one I haven't ticked off.

I stuck a photo of my kingi on my Facebook which is always dangerous these days as someone is always a vegan etc.
Anyway one of my friends comments " poor fish was having a happy life till you came along "
I replied " no the fish had just been through a divorce and was miserable "
😁
