Good luck hope to hear the fishing is better soon.

It’s a big car park off Papamoa beach road just after the 50 km sign.

Conditions don’t look great but will look since we’re up.

Making the call at 4.45 on A Bouy. Supposed to be calm. Still be a decent wave though. Going well meet at Taylor’s around 5.15-5.20

Finally got a gap in the wind and went off Taylor's with Toaseal after navigating some 1m odd breakers early on! Fishing was tough but what we did get was pretty decent so not too bad. Conditions once out were nothing short of mint!

Nice one Beernyarn. Good to get a Kingi and that bottom left snap looks a fatty.
Surf will be around all weekend.

Thought Id let you guys know, went out the cut today with a mate new to soft baiting on the ski, put 5 nice fish myself in the bin between 35-45cm, could have easily binned up as we didn't start fishing until 8:30am as well as moved around a bit. He unfortunately didn't get any himself. Plenty of school fish around that area which was good to see, all taken on gulp

Had three days up top of Coro this week - insane fishing - got out to channel island yesterday but no luck on any kings but a drift to fletchers bay had me 5 snaps with two snaps just under seventy cms - the drift back to port Jackson was almost a fish every drop and got another 65 cm.
Today launched from granite wharf and drifted almost back to port Jackson and got an early 60 then the best of the trip with a 75 cm on a microjig. Mean paddle back to granite wharf 🥵

Nice scottyboy. Worth the trip.
Apparently beach and boat claim they are coming out with prize list this weekend. We'll have to wait and see on that one.

Love fishing, love my job. It's a bloody shame that they clash.
