Cheers for the intel. I'll grab my heavy jig heads and sliders for tomorrow instead.

Were you getting many fish casting ahead? Last few times I've got most the fish either below or behind the yak.

Was a mix of all. My 3/4oz dragger was struggling to stay on the bottom. I hooked my 58cm model on the retrieve half way up the water column.

Arrived at Harrisons a bit before 6:30 to see DT already paddling out. Conditions were great, basically no wind and tiny swell.

Paddled out to around 12m and caught up with DT who had 3 in the bin already. Quickly had one 35cm snap myself, then a KY which went back.

Fished that depth range for a while before heading out to about 16m where I picked up another 2 clones of the first quickly. Grabbed another clone and then it quietened down a little. Tried the foul for a smaller snapper which went back, then DT and I decided to head in around 10-13m. I spent a bit of time sniffing around a boats burley trail and picked up a bigger 40cm fish. Then into 10m. Grabbed another 2 and that was 7 in the bin.

Fishing wasn't red hot, but there was regular action throughout. Conditions stayed good right until the end when a slight SE wind came up.

Nice to get out.

Caught on Gulps, no luck on the Z-man, it got hit but nothing stuck. Same with the slider, had a few hits and lost something big off that but it seemed New Penny gulp was the winner for me today.

Piwi turned up in the carpark around 10:30 on his way to work after sleeping in..Wink

So cruel. Im actually average size worldwide if you take into account Asia and the pygmy nations.

I get Scotty to guestimate all my biggest fish anyway so dont need to weigh/measure them Big smile
