Great conditions this morning.

Tried a range of depths out to 24m and then that was the depth they were at. Picked up 7 pannies. Nothing that special. Mostly on the jig higher in the water column and if it they were on the SB, on the drop.

Nice one doublenda!

I didn't see any other yaks out, just a couple of little boats. Quiet as really.  Mint alright!

Tough going this morning but ended up with a John dory and 2 pannies and Phishpulla gave me his only snapper.
A couple more throwback snapper and cod.
Camman got a few ratkingis but no snaps.
Got pretty windy 15 to 20 knots westerly while we were in 28m so we were forced back in.

Hard luck Doublenda. I've been making the most of this swell instead.
I did notice a nice workup about 500m out off where I was surfing at papamoa.

Nice one Doublenda!

Did better than me  out off Whangamata this morning. Managed two, one at 45 the other about 38. Few throwbacks. Nice to fish somewhere else.

Yeah, they fed the whole extended family as fish burgers Smile

Pink was the colour today, nothing else seemed to fire the fish up. Caught all my fish on a Trigger X pink paddle tail as that was all I had that was pink...

Yep, surfing time!
