Couple days off with surf predicted here so took off down coast for couple nights
Flat calm, 10 knots and great fishing - three sessions with every one producing good fish
Kept 7 in the end with two best both at 64 and rest mid 50s apart from one late 40s - so many late 40s and early 50s put back as well
Shame bout your nephews sounder Piwi 😴

Slept in missed the change of light and tide but got 3 snaps early 40s and a gurnard i put back was on the smaller side

Weekend looking good looking at going at least a couple of days of pap went coro last weekend got some good fish mate got 1 over 12 pound

I did okay off karewa. Kept 4 nice snap, a gurnard and a squid! Biggest snap went 50cm. Also put back a rat and a couple undersized.

Solid Ray. Good to get a squid and gurnard. No wonder you didn't hear me on the radio as Karewa is about 6kms away.

Whoopa I was done by 8am too.

Ray yeah that was the spot. Dory was 46cm 2 huge fillets.
It would be nice to know if my radio got that far. I had it on 5 watt.
