Mean fish DT!!! I just popped out local, hard work again! Picked up a few but hard work. Apparently there was a trawler right in close Friday night and the weekend before also.

I got out the domain last saturday was slow going only 3 over 3hrs. I passed the trawler on the way out, all the ocean and they take where us fullas can reach really pisses me off

Pretty decent session this morning - good conditions first up but fishing slow - had a a mental half hour with all but one fish caught in this time - drifted a fair way down the coast with a mean paddle back to launch site into a stiffening wind

Yeah hook it - Iā€™m far too clumsy and fish off some rocky beaches esp up the Coro to go with a stealth - I see they bringing in a plastic stealth but think stick with Viking for their product and their good product support

Any of you guys get rescued Saturday? 
A kayaker is lucky to be alive today after volunteers from Coastguard Maketu plucked him from large waves and cold water on the Maketu Bar on Saturday afternoon.

I capsized on the Maketu bar once.. nobody called for help they just laughed at me šŸ˜

Wasn't really a kayaking weekend though quite swelly. Was he playing in the surf or fishing ?
