Interesting experience scotty. Always thought it was a matter of time before someone bumped in to one. There is a big one that hangs around the harbour entrance each year and tend to think there are heaps more that move along the coast. Saturday looking good will go further down the coast. Ponies fish finder is all good nothing still playing around with different settings and screens. Will start getting some marks and using the tracking over the next few months.

Thats an interesting day alright! I'd be keeping my feet in as well after that.

Been half expecting to see one, they are definitely about.

Sweet DT, mines still working sweet as, no complaints about it really.

Scotty calls a 10lb snapper a 20lb snapper so maybe it was a blue cod?

Solid fish guys.

Ended up with 3 snaps, from 54 to 35cm and a KY. Picked up a few handfuls of piper off the beach. Must have got chased in by a King.
