Weather looking good at this stage for Friday, wind dropped and swell dropping too. Hopefully will get a chance to put the new yak in the water. Who else is keen?

Thursday looks too windy, Friday a bit iffy, but sat/sun look good. I'll be keen for Sat if Friday is no good. Would be keen for spot R, or similar after the past few fishes on the sand.

Ive decided I'm going to head to load up the kayak and head to the entrance for the day to try for kings tomorrow. Drifting the entrance on the incoming with sliders is also fishing well with fish up to 8 pound being caught so also may try that on the way out early morning

Might see some of you tomorrow... I'm out of date with the lingo on spots, so don't know who's going where. I'm going to Fish19 (on my GPS).

Decided not to head out this morning as plans changed with my mate allowing us to head out on the boat for an evening fish. Will let you know how the entrance fishes with sliders and matakana on the softies go tonight!

One on the slider in the entrance, one on the softie on the matakana bank just outside as well as another 4 on the strayline. Two of us so got a good feed.
