Just had the butchers cut loose on my hand yesterday to correct some nerve damage. So I wont be paddling for a couple months.
Anyone have anything stronger than panadine for this pain?

I'm a bit partial to the smashing my other hand with a hammer. Only problem is I can't hold a hammer with the other already damaged hand.

Howdy Hellfish, yup I do know what the pain is like when you get the chop on the hands, I have in the past had both of my hands cut and my fingers straightened, Now 10 years down the track i have to have them done again. F*ck mucksweat dread fear, Bastard got to have a knee replacement soon as well . more of the same only hurts in a different spot.
In fact the hospital phnd me this morning saying i could have my hands done on the 4th november, but I have the ORNZ annual general meeting on the 8th of November at Taupo, so no go,maybe next month
Dont worry about the other clever fallas in here, my only hope with the smart arses, is that one day they will have to have something done on their hands, my curse on them is i hope they do both hands at once, so they have to have some one else wipe their collective arses for them, heh heh heh ,
Best pain relief, bottle brandy and a big fat log and a good marlin catching video , they tell me theres an awsome on just come on the market , if ya havnt got any of those , go to the chemist and ask for a packet of Pirophen, probably the best and strongest of the off the shelf pain relief.

I'm not in the condition to drive at the moment but when the wife gets home I'll head down to the chemist and get some of that pirophen. I have some 60mg sustained release Codine but it just makes me lethargic and I cant stand it.
These boys don't realize how many nerve endings are in the hands that enable you to wipe your arse. Fortunately it was my left hand I had done. I am right handed so life is a bit easier. Sad thing to think about though...
