Have one but a lot lighter, I use with 6 kg line...  Daiwa sl20sh married up and find it a great snapper rod being quite lightish so nice to use all day... Pain in the butt to thread up tho and normally rig up before leaving home... Make sure they give you the pull through to get the line through the middle.. Had mine a few years now and still enjoy using it...

The only bad thing I have heard about these, was from a mate, in that the internal line guide can crack at the tip. This can cause the line to catch and break when under stress, but if the rod is brand new and has been on the shelf for a while this is probably unlikely, and for that price probably not a worry. The one my mate had was working fine for ages, he thinks it might have had an accidental "knock" at some stage, when the rod was transported between home and beach or home and boat, and that was what caused the cracking, but he will never know!!!
It is to be observed that 'angling' is the name given to fishing, by people who can't fish.

Can anyone advise where to locate the interline rod tip with 4.8mm dia. barrel. They do crack very easily.
