Nice work TJM. A friend was towed back from 55m off Port Waikato last weekend when his low hours E-Tec Wouldn't start Cry He had a hairy ride through the river bar a good couple of hours that he would have chosen. Absolute respect to those who help out.

That would be scary,  one thing in a lake but across a bar that wouldn't be nice.

Talking of Lake Arapuni, does anyone know if its in the Level 2 or 3 lock down area?

It has been suggested the boundary runs down the middle?

The boundary does but according to some officials I run into your ok as long as you don't land on the southern side which is Level 2.

My rig is a Enforcer 5.8M Locally Built. I brought this as a bear Hull New and fitted it out.

Running a Honda 100hp

With a Mercury Vengeance 15P prop
Top Speed 32Knots, Top RPM Light Load 6250rpm, Heavier Load 5850RPM

Uses 0.5 L per KM at Cruising speed (Around 23 Knots)

132 hours on the clock and going like a dream. Happily, cross the Manukau bar though I pick my days.

It was built by a guy in Manurewa who has since closed up shop.
Boat has a 5mm hull and 4mm sides etc

I did get some of the finer touches added by Russell @Domain ALLOY Boats. Russell an awesome job of making the Rocket Launcher, Ladder, Live Bait Tank, Outboard Pod extension (downward), Trim Tab Mounts etc to add to the hull. Russell also builds some pretty cool boats .

Afternoon all. I'd like to add pics of my boat to this thread but unfortunately I'm about as good on a computer as I am at understanding women. Would someone be kind enough to send me a PM with the step by step process in words of one syllable or less how I upload a photo.

Thanks

That's a solid looking boat Bertiesdad. For that weight and horsepower it must be built for some big seas.

It’s in Taranaki so will have a chance to see if she can walk the talk am sure. It’s a solid rig-not exactly family friendly but it’s been built to go hard and fast and hopefully get a few fish onboard
