" Has a cure for TAS been discovered and no one told me?"

No, just overwhelming feelings of guilt.....

Rarenium 4000 reel, Microwave rod, 2nd hand Fin Nor Marquesa MT 20 on a Jigstar Kojak rod.
That's all I'll admit to for now.

You're not the only one mate. I bought a new shotgun. It cost twice as much as I had planned/budgeted for, but it was such a bloody good deal. Even my old man who is quite thrifty said go for it, it will last a lifetime.

I can't claim that my child will go hungry because of this, but it's going to be a tight couple of months Embarrassed

Well, you know how it is..........kept the Rarenium in one hand whilst checking out other mid range spin reels.........none as light, no contest.

Unrelated, but my knife building/ collection is getting worse. Just bought a Condor Bushcraft blank(model 1 was the Kephart with free oak offcuts for scales )
This will have black maire scalped and a brass guard. I need more practice before I build the Damascus steel dagger.
Also bought a mini Svord peasant folder, the green plastic handle slabs are are going and the new wood reprofiled, with the blade tip profiled to a Bowie style.
And since I was ordering some stuff, I couldn't resist this neat little Japanese folder. Beatifully simplistic, friction folder with the handle made from folded brass

You like knives?  Then check out Greg Medford Knives - very entertaining bloke too if you watch is many video clips.  And his knives are total badassery.  Thinking about treating myself to a full sized drop point Marauder.  Is that wrong?

I have been in denial for quite some time but just when I think I have my Tackle Addiction under control, I seem to find myself walking down the isles of the local tackle shops, with basket in hand.

This time I went in looking for a packet of swivels and split rings.

And for the record, $10 cheaper than Marine Deals, plus my frequent flyer customer status scored another $20 off the total (reel, braid and some tackle)

Been a loong long time between drinks for me, but if you include the boat and the gear to use on said boat, I am up around the 95k mark in the last couple of months.
