Good morning fellow anglers.

I have an Avet BSX 5:1 the NZ special black model which I am using in Sydney Aus for jigging.

The handle is more closer to a baitcaster double handle with a single knob than a jigging handle and I would love it if I could source a longer jigging arm + handle.

The general sizing for an Avet SX would fit but I am having trouble sourcing it from Australia and was wondering if anyone in NZ has a clue.

I've emailed Avet USA, however they have yet to respond; I've also messaged Yeeha and Marine Deals but unfortunately they no longer stock the jigging handle arm / knobs.

Otherwise the aftermarket option I have is Ultimate Jigging handle and knob from the US which works out to be about $110 USD delivered but honestly that would be my absolute last resort.

If anyone knows a better solution please let me know.

Tried this, and have the SX handle to prove it...... Doesnt work, the BSX and Newer SX handle with longer arm have different keyways..... I got a reply from Avet after purchasing a arm and handle, They dont have a longer arm suitable  for the BSX, it wasn't a big production run for them.....

I know this post is a month or so old, Iv just logged in for the first time in a few years.

I made a jigging handle for a BSX from a offcut of marine alloy I got from a local metal shop. If thats an option for you let me know and I'll send a pic.

Hi there ! 

I actually ended up getting in touch with the biggest avet specialist in Aus and he helped me contact Avet USA.

As the guy above said, this BSX model doesn't accommodate the SX handle so I kinda gave up but to hear this is no less than a silver lining !

I am absolutely interested and would love to see if I could get one as well.

Please contact either here, on this forum or any of the below
