No doubt this question has been asked & replied to endless times ( seem to remember rainbow offering advice ) but I have 3 pair of waders with slow minor leakages ... annoying nevertheless.

Two are lightweight gortex type of material & the third seldom used heavy neoprene all of which it has not been possible to locate where the leak is.

Years ago vac cleaners used to have an exhaust port the hose fitted into so was a simple matter of sealing the pipe inside the waders & once blown up the leak could be found by rolling the waders in water then noting where a stream of bubbles was originating from. Unfortunately this function no longer appears to feature in modern day vac cleaners so what is the alternative ?

Get a cotton ball or the like soaked in some alcohol with your waders inside out
apply alcohol to suspected spots, seams, and areas that experience the most wear.
Holes will appear as darker spots. Get a marker pen and mark area to be repaired.

Maybe if I drank the alcohol instead of applying it to the waders then any leaks would no
longer pose a problem !!!
