What a good bloke Smudge is - offering to catch Skoti's fish for him.
What mates are for - right?

You are lucky to have him as mate Skoti. You can save heaps now. Just stay home. And wait for the fillets to be delivered.
Right when fuel costs hike up.
Maybe he will offer to do it for me too.

Wonder if all the whining buggers thought that if they had kept Methanex up and running properly NZ could have been fuel self sufficient, Old Rob Muldoon may have been un popular back in the day but he may have had some good ideas. Even though we would still have to import crude I wonder if NZ Refining producing fuel would be a better bet now?? Time will tell

Well looks like the weather has had the final say. Ranfurly Banks in prime fishing time when SBT are practically jumping on the boat (we're going bottom fishing Smudge)is a no go at this stage due to the 30 knot winds and approaching storms. So far the team has stayed true but it depends on the follow up date. Those who contacted me as reserves will get first offers for the follow up date if our crew falls short. Hope not though, we've good a good crew sorted! Wayno, Kitno, Mars (remember him?) Arron and his mate Rumbold. I'll be in touch if someone can't make it.
