Music!

It doesn't have to be fishy. Just post whatever music you like.

For me? Metal all day long.

Metallica often pays dividends for us, especially this song. Please don't listen if you're easily offended:

some good choices so far! Love the Deftones especially.  Keeping it Kiwi I think Blindspott would be hard to beat.

I like music (metal, as well as other stuff) and beer for that matter, but not while I'm fishing.

Hehe nah, we seldom blast out the tunes but when we have I have to say I haven't noticed a detrimental effect on fishing. Shallow water stuff - well yeah keep it quiet. Not a big Metallica fan but the song I mentioned earlier and Duelling Banjos are known to emanate from Team Smudge. Surprisingly to some, beers aren't a big feature onboard, certainly when off the west coast.

Generally not into music while fishing. Having said that, it is not a rule. Sometimes Hauraki or whatever we can get - which ain't too much. Deep drifting, and can be a while between bites. Maybe. Conversation works better.
Beer, No No. Never. I have mates here who survive on beer while fishing. We take the p..s and ask if they ran out when they come home.
Not for me. And gamefishing - forget it.
But I really can't concentrate on both fishing and music blaring. I like the sounds of the sea. Prefer the music sitting on the deck with a beer after the fishing.
Just me I guess.

I have a very wide music taste, but do like a bit of reggae.  Here's an artist that you probably haven't heard before, and I cannot mention for fear of getting banned from facebook -but this is a great tune.

Also nice one Smudge, I can't remember the last time I heard anyone mention the Anti-Nowhere League.

Usually watch a bit of trackside during a day's fishing. Crank the sounds up as we head home. Old school CCR, Dragon ACDC, Dire Straits, or maybe Luke Combs

Huh, didn't know music scares the fish away. I thought some good beats would make them curious and they come check it out! you know sound travels faster in water
