Sunday afternoon launched at Mount Beach. A bit damp through bumps and sounder battery bounced out of it's home forward. Sounder stayed working, turned on Mr Bixpy and headed for 27/28 metre area past A Beacon. Mr Bixpy found a plastic bag which put him on strike for almost an hour. Flagged down a runabout and after he retrieved the bag for me continued with Mr Bixpy assist. Drifted to drogue for a few klicks back and forth then had 3 pannies in a short time. Lost a bigger critter who hit a softie on the way up. Finally back to Mount Beach and when short steep swell count went astray I snuck through two and got dumped by a little surprise. Ended up gathering odds and ends from the beach, fish happily still in bag. if anyone wandering around the area finds the plastic mount for a Garmin striker 4 I would be happy to be reunited with him. I'm surely not an expert at this carry on but will keep trying.
