This pic is from Whitesnake (Simon).
"Hi guys.Alans post on squid reminded me of a mate of mine kenneth Murphy.while fishing out of New Plymouth a few years back he had a big battle with what he thought was a very large marlin.after a few hours he got his marlin boat side and saw the reason for the long fight.the marlins back end had been fileted to the bone.Giant squid maybe.looks far too clean for a shark. As I can't load photos for some reason Alan has kindly offered to post it for me."

That's a fascinating pic.
Thanks.
Impressive removal of meat.
I'm no expert but it doesn't seem shark like.
Interesting it attacked the tail area first, common theme among predators.
Poor Marlin, being buggered at both ends.
Just cruising in my now sweetas pimped out Southern 755 HT0!

We had a good few jack macs in livie tank then caught squid at night and dropped them in the tank, too.
Next morning all the jack macshad been eaten by the squids. Captivity hadn't diminished their appetite!
Be yourself; everyone else is already taken
