What about the spear, I use one about 2 metres long single spike with no bard, so I can just slide my hand under the flounder lift it out of the water and into the sack.

Our used to be just below should height...
Spike as said before a 6" nail...
Definitely no spike... If miss the head or gut, and being a more soft thin fish, drop off  anyway. Either way, leaves a bad hole in the flesh.

And if hit a stingray thats keeps being a nusence .....

Would apply if a large proportion of our energy wasnt produced by bad low grade Indonesian coal, from mines not environmentally friendly , then throw in shipping foot print.

And here we are.

We never had an issue with the tillys.. early ones where white spirits.. had to be careful with those, only if the leather seals leaked,  then they made them to run on kero and better seal materials.

This reminded me of survivorship bias ;)

(Yes, we had a great white spirits lamp that we used for years when camping and floundering.  It was still in use on family trips until about 15 years ago)

I would have used bathroom silicone to glue and seal it on with.  De grease then sand lightly the surfaces 1st.
Always de grease then sand, espec plastics.. I sand you end up 'grinding ' and oils/ grease into the surface.
Something I learnt the hard way may yrs ago refurbishing 60s chey plastic interior panels . Its one of those things you get way with then murphy steps in the bit that most important , doesn't stick long term and/ or fish eyes in the paint.

Amazing information. I really enjoyed reading this thread and discussion by the people. As someone who is involved in this "PVC pipe" for many years, I would like to refer (link removed). It's not only focused on discussing the topic inside out but also "Benefit". Hope everybody enjoys reading the blog.

I  really enjoyed reading your most enjoyable reply from an AI bot from Pakistan. Curiously, I had to remove that dodgy link and nuke your dodgy arse. I hope you understand.
