Ended up drifting onto an article about prince Andrew and the spot of bother he's in at the moment.
There must be a rather large group of very well-to-do people quietly sh-tting themselves. The young girl he rented from his now dead mate is gonna take the perverted toff prick to the cleaners. I sincerely hope she doesn't get brought off....

Unfortunately yes. Resistance is futile. But which licence depends on if under 30" long, restricted, or semi-automatic.
You're Welcome.

Imagine if electric cars were more popular years ago...

I also read that Henry Ford's first cars were designed to run on bio-diesel made from hemp. Rockefeller and the Oil Barons did a deal with him over night for oil/petrol production and the rest is history.Ouch

1911 and only 5% of the country had electricity, maybe they were thinking of the future...

Henry Ford thought ethyl alcohol would be the fuel to run cars on, he said  "There is fuel in every bit of vegetable matter that can be fermented. There's enough alcohol in one year's yield of an acre of potatoes to drive the machinery necessary to cultivate the fields for a hundred years."  He said it was the fuel of the future in 1925.

The hemp thing was a bit later in 1941.  He designed, and built, a car made from resin stiffened by hemp fibers and ran it on ethyl alcohol fermented from hemp. He was really into hemp.

Back in the twenties lots of people thought ethyl alcohol was the way forwards, but it turned out to be cheaper to pump oil from the ground and refine it than to ferment organic matter into ethyl alcohol.  No one bothered about environmental impacts back then.

Also worth noting the first six land speed records were set by electric cars, followed by a steam car, before any internal combustion engines managed it.  Definitely nothing new about electric cars, maybe the internal combustion engine will turn out to be the dead end in vehicle development in another hundred years time.

First Crude Electric Vehicle Is Developed

Around 1832, Robert Anderson develops the first crude electric vehicle, but it isn't until the 1870s or later that electric cars become practical. Pictured here is an electric vehicle built by an English inventor in 1884.

Apparently the Rockefellers and oil industry donated heaps to the prohibition movement in order to stop bulk ethyl alcohol being produced.  It was shaping up to be the fuel for vehicles because it could be produced locally in places that did not have oil.

This degree is the first of its kind in the world and combines scientific knowledge of the biophysical world with understanding of economic and political systems and the impacts on Māori, Pacific and Indigenous communities.

What are the Impacts on Maori, Pacific people etc and how do they differ from the effects on other ethnicities?
Why choose either diving or fishing when you can do both. Besides crayfish tail is very good bait!!

I loved the bullet points especially the one about it being simple to solve.
The potential careers raised an eyebrow too.
